Bracelet Fundraiser

A group of students have organised a fundraiser by selling a “Memory” bracelet and a “Love” bracelet in support of Danica and Abby’s Village.  They hope to raise $1000 to purchase a bench for the school.

Cycle of Giving

The Bicycle Repair and Maintenance program is looking for donations.  If you have bicycles that you no longer using please consider donating them so our students can restore and use them.  We are looking for adult bikes as well as children’s bicycles which will be donated to the Cycle of Giving in Winnipeg in December.  Each year hundreds of bicycles are reclaimed from landfills and refurbished to be donated to families in need in time for Christmas. Varsity Boys’ Volleyball Retain the Zone 5 Banner

Warren Wildcats Varsity Boys Zones Going into zones the boys were confident that they could do well.  They played 4 games in a round robin including Gimli, Teulon, Peguis and Arborg.  They beat Teulon in 2 straight sets (25-14 and 25-18); lost against Gimli after playing well in the first set (25-15; 10-25 & 8-15); won Arborg in 3 sets (25-21; 12-25; 15-10) and Peguis in 2 (25-11 & 25-6). Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Team Retain the Zone 5 Banner

The varsity girls’ volleyball team had a very successful Zone 5 tournament.  The girls captured the banner after beating Arborg.  Up next is the Provincial Qualifier being held on Saturday November 16, 2019.  The girls will be hosting 4 other teams from across the province and play at 10 am, noon and 2 pm.  Come out and support the team!

Farm to School Fundraiser

Mrs. Stepaniuk is organising this fundraiser for a school wide function, which has yet to be determined, but will occur prior to June next year.  Please note the closing date has been deferred to November 6th with delivery on the 13th November. Farm To School Fundraiser

Interlake Youth Choir

Four of our choral students are taking part in an Interlake Youth Choir camp this coming weekend.  Singers will spend the weekend intensively learning music and perform 3 school concerts followed by a Finale Concert on Monday night at the New Life Church in Stonewall at 7pm.  Check out the poster if you’re interested!! Leadership Retreat – Oak Hammock Marsh.

A group of grade 9-12 students participated in a leadership retreat to plan activities and events for this school year.  The purpose to try and encourage all students to become involved in an activity which they enjoy and feel part of the school community.
