What is HSAP?
The WCI High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP) offers students a chance to learn about any trade in Manitoba by being mentored by employer. They are registered as a high school apprentice and are able to do entry level work to gain experience and a passion for the trade. HSAP’s purpose is to engage students in a trade where they will be fulfilled and become the workforce of tomorrow.
Prerequisites
– You must be in Grade 11 or Grade 12
– You should be 16 years of age
– You must cover compulsory requirements in Grades 9-12
Student Responsibilities
– Find an employer that is willing to train an apprentice
– Contact Warren Collegaite apprenticeship teacher and complete the required applications (BELOW)

– Earn up to 8 high school elective credits
– Get paid to learn a trade
