The WarrenVarsity girls basketball team has started the season with a tournament win in Steinbach. The girls first game was against the Steinbach JV team and we came out with a 64-16 win. Next, the girls played a strong team from Calvin Christian. The girls were down by several points with 7 minutes left in the game but overcame the deficit to win 43-36. In the finals, the girls played against the Steinbach varsity girls’ team. The girls fought hard the whole game and came away with a 52-32 victory to win the tournament.
