The WarrenVarsity girls basketball team has started the season with a tournament win in Steinbach. The girls first game was against the Steinbach JV team and we came out with a 64-16 win. Report cards are being sent home today with students. If you have outstanding school fees, a statement will be enclosed with the report. Please make arrangements for payment as soon as possible.
Subject fees are now overdue and prompt payment is appreciated. Typically, home ec, industrial arts, art, hockey academy and sports have fees attached. These are used to purchase supplies so students can participate in hands on learning. Sports fees go towards tournament fees, hotel stays, travel costs & ice rental. The Warren Collegiate canteen is up and running. The focus is on freshly made homemade food, and less processed foods. Dawn Yuzwa has worked on and off in our school division over the course of the last 18 years, as an EA and volunteer, and is a mother of two girls aged 27 and 13.
