Virtual Academic Awards Ceremony

Our virtual academic awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 15th at 10:45 am.    We will announce winners of Honours, Athlete of the Year, Outstanding School Service and Governor General’s Medal.  Johnny Holtmann will be here to receive his medal and will also say a few words to the students.  We will ask the major award winners to be in the gym, so they can receive their award on stage and certificate holders will be announced and delivered… Read More

Bike Shop

Here are a couple of bike class students in action.  The students are able to service and repair bikes under the watchful eye of Mrs. Stewart, for a nominal fee.  The class has refurbished some small children’s bikes which are available to donate.  Please contact Mrs. Stewart through the school office or email lstewart@isd21.mb.ca for further details.

Food Drive

Brady DeLaroque and Paige Wright, a couple of Grade 12 students took on the task of promoting the Interlake Food Bank Drive by initiating a coin and non-perishable food collection here in Warren Collegiate and the community.  Coin jars were distributed to local businesses.  Thank you to our local and school community for supporting this initiative.  There are still a few days remaining if you wish to donate.

Gift of Warmth Drive

This holiday season, Amber Archer, one of grade 12 students, is collecting new and gently used socks, toques, mitts and blankets to donate to the Main Street Project located in Winnipeg.  We tend to take for granted how warm we are during the winter season, however, there are hundreds of people who lack the basic warm clothes to fight off frostbite or to survive a Winnipeg winter.  Donating new or gently used items could make a difference to these people… Read More
